Blount Pharmacy is a locally owned independent pharmacy serving primarily the communities of Joaquin, Texas and Logansport, Louisiana. We are owned by Karen Bossier and her mother Ann Magness, who are both pharmacists and natives of Shelby County. Our mission is to provide quality pharmacy services at an affordable price and with a friendly attitude.
We provide the same standard services that you would expect from any pharmacy: prescription services, over-the-counter medications, pharmacist consultation, immunizations, and medication therapy management, to name a few. We are always trying to grow and improve our business to better serve our patients.
We have a wonderful team of two pharmacy technicians, (Suzanne and Juliane) and a pharmacy clerk (Marissa), who are always ready to serve our customers with a friendly smile! Together, we all work together to provide you the best pharmacy experience that we can.

Dr. Karen Bossier, Pharm.D.
The pharmacist on duty most of the time is Karen. She graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2006 with a Doctorate of Pharmacy. Her hobbies include cooking and spending time with her two sons (Jacob and Tyler) and with her husband, Zach.
Ann Magness, RPh
Karen's business partner and mother is Ann. She graduated from Northeast Louisiana University (now ULM) in 1973. Her hobbies include gardening and spending time with her grandsons Jacob and Tyler.
Suzanne, Bobbie Sue, and Juliane
The two technicians who provide our patients with friendly and efficient service are Suzanne and Juliane. Suzanne is a native of Joaquin, and Juliane (or Juli) is a native of Logansport. Our pharmacy clerk Bobbie is also happy to serve you, and she is from Keatchie.
